Congratulations from Denis Mukha, Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, on the Day of National Unity

colleagues, dear friends!
On behalf
of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus and myself, I sincerely
congratulate you on the holiday of September 17 ‑ the Day of National Unity!
September
17, 1939 is the day of restoration of historical justice in relation to the
Belarusian people, divided against their will in 1921 under the terms of the
Riga Peace Treaty. The date was not chosen by chance: it coincides with the
beginning of the liberation campaign of the Red Army in Western Belarus.
Overcoming
difficulties, our ancestors sought to preserve the integrity of the state and consolidate
society.
Now, in the
current difficult geopolitical situation, our main task is to preserve the
spiritual and territorial unity of the country, to ensure the economic
sovereignty and economic security of our state.
The united
people will never be defeated!
The
approval of National Unity Day is an important step towards preserving
historical memory, continuity of generations, strengthening Belarusian state
system and the sovereign development of our country.
