On April 20, 2023, employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the International Research-to-Practice Conference «Modern problems of ensuring economic security»

On April 20, 2023, the I International Research-to-Practice Conference «Modern problems of ensuring economic security» was held at the site of the Faculty of Economics of the BSU.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus, the Institute of System Researches in Agroindustrial Complex of NAS and the National Center for Intellectual Property, the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Research.

Director of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus Denis MUKHA, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, spoke at the plenary session with a web report «Strategic Development Directions of the Economy of the Republic of Belarus in Modern Realities».

The plenary report on the topic «Environmental Security as a Component of the National Security of the Republic of Belarus» was presented by Nadezhda BATOVA, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Section of Environmental and Economic Issues of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus.

Antonina TRIPUZOVA, Head of the Section of Legal Support of Socio-Economic Development, took part in the work of the sections, with a report on the topic «Selected aspects of the constitutional and legal protection of competition in the context of ensuring economic security», as well as an employee of this sector, Olgerd YAKUBOVSKY, with a report on the topic «Legal aspects of business entities’ involvement in the implementation of rational import substitution in the Republic of Belarus».

Ekaterina GLADKAYA, Head of the Section of Legal Support of Economic Security, and Elena PRESNYAKOVA, Head of the Section of Industrial Policy, took part in the conference in absentia with the submission of articles for subsequent publication.
