On February 28 and 29, 2024, employees of the Institute of Economics of NAS of Belarus took part in the International Research-to-Practice Conference at the Faculty of Economics of BSU
On February
28 and 29, 2024, the VI International Research-to-Practice Conference «Trends
in Economic Development in the 21st Century» was held at the Faculty of
Economics of the Belarusian State University, dedicated to the 25th anniversary
of the of the BSU Faculty of Economics formation.
The main
purpose of the conference was to test the results of research work, as well as
the exchange of experience between young scientists, teaching staff and
researchers.
The Dean of
the Faculty of Economics of BSU, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences,
Professor Anna KOROLEVA made a welcoming speech.
12 established
scientists from scientific institutions and higher education institutions of
Belarus and Russia took part at the plenary session. In particular, Doctor of
Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist of the
Republic of Belarus, Professor of the Department of Analytical Economics and
Econometrics of BSU Mikhail KOVALYOV devoted his report to modern problems of
economic science that are relevant for young scientists. The value of higher
education as a prerequisite for economic development was revealed by Doctor of
Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Innovative Entrepreneurship
at Moscow State Technical University named asfter N. E. Bauman Elena
LYAPUNTSOVA.

TRIPUZOVA, Head of the Sector of Legal Support for Socio-Economic Development,
with a report on the topic «Constitutional and legal aspects of regulating
competitive relations in the context of ensuring the economic security of the
Republic of Belarus»;

POGORELSKAYA, employee of the Sector of Production and Distribution Services,
with a report on the topic «Development of e-commerce as a result of digital
transformation»;
Vladimir
GRINKO, an employee of the Sector of Legal Support for Socio-Economic Development,
with a report on the topic «The role of the Financial Monitoring Department in
ensuring the economic security of the Republic of Belarus»;
Olgerd
YAKUBOVSKY, an employee of the sector of Legal Support for Socio-Economic
Development, with a report on the topic «The SCO Business Council as a driver
of economic cooperation within Greater Eurasia».
The Head of
the Service Economy Department, Natalya MOROZOVA, and an employee of the Sector
of Production and Distribution Services, Anastasia KARPENKO, submitted articles
for subsequent publication.
